Because there not open...not even for take out
I'd call this the go-to spot in Angels Camp for the diner meal. Breakfast all day, the usual suspects for lunch and dinner. Everything is predictable in a good way - quality, portions and prices. Nice people and the service was casual, not rushed.
Good food, friendly atmosphere
Delicious quick bite, friendly servers great French fries and cold ice beer mugs!!
Food was good and delivered hot - excellent service.
Only restaurant open in 10 miles... but none the less it was welcoming, warm, and friendly. A little over priced but good.
Good people, good food. A little bit of an issue regarding dine-in due to ordinance changes in the county. Call 1st before going.
food was good service was great had chicken fried steak breakfast was delicious
Good comfort food. Good service .
The meal was always really good there we actually went out of our way to eat there that night thinking we wanted something a little different cuz they haven't quite the menu there so I was surprised that there wasn't so many people on a Sunday night but I guess that's Sunday night for you so I recommend going there on Sunday night and having the restaurant with three or four other people in it I like that so take care now have fun guys and thanks again for the great meal
The steak came out well done, I asked for rare. Won't go back. Breakfast $40 for 2. Small sirloin steak for steak breakfast.
Good service good good.
Piss poor food. Very expensive
Great food and friendly staff.
There are not that many sit down options for Angles Camp. So decided to go to Rodz for a group Brunch meet up. Portions were big! And biscuits and gravy were so good! Got a California woody and mushrooms were cooked very well into the omelet. Service was overall nice, I appreciated the fact that they did not rush us off after we were done eating as we did continue to talk and drink coffee for an hour after. Would definitely go again 😃
Home town atmosphere. A great place for breakfast. Friendly staff, descent prices. My grandsons love their milkshakes and their burgers are great.
Good American food
Great food, fantastic service! Social distancing in practice! Good eats!
Yummy Food .. Great Friendly service.. thanks Lynni!
Good food, nice people. The place could use a little remodeling, starting to look a little old.
Meh.... I had a turkey sammich. It was ok
Delicious breakfast and good value. The waitress was very friendly. A visit here is like going back in time.
I came in for breakfast with my family. The waitresses were all so friendly, and accommodating. We enjoyed our meals and will be back for sure!
Neat little diner, great food. Everyone was happy and full and it didnt break the bank. We walked in with a large party and were still seated fairly quickly and waited on well.
Good food and even better staff !
Great food and service...
Good diner food
wonderful food. employees we lre awesome too
Food was excellent, service was a little slow to start but there was only one waitress. Other than that we really enjoyed it. We will be back there again next time were in the area.
Ok diner food. Service was slow for a Saturday evening and it wasn’t busy. Hubby really like his club sandwich
My breakfast there was wonderful and the service was great.
EMNALNA MADE OUR VISIT AMAZING. EXCELLENT SERVERWHAT A DELIGHTFUL VERY HARD WORKING YOUNG LADY.THE FOOD WAS DELICIOUS
Fast service, friendly waitress, good food!
Food and service was excellent!!!
Great Service, Friendly People, Amazing food
The meal was larger than i expected and the quality and service was kind and fast the atmosphere felt inviting and just had an amazing time all together
Service was great, decor was nice, and it was clean. We stopped for dinner and it was just not worth the money. I ordered the Sole, mashed potatoes, vegetables, and garlic bread. The fish was lightly battered in flour..and that was all the seasoning you got. It was bland and tasteless. The Vegetables were also not seasoned, and the mashed potatoes-instant mashed potatoes and packet brown gravy..$17. My husband ordered a $11 fish and chips with three pieces of fish. The $10 sampler came with more lettuce than samplings. They need a better cook and some better quality food for as much as they're charging!
This restaurant is my preferable place. Of all restaurants I know I favor it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to this restaurant. when I I need a delicious dinner, this place comes straightaway to my head. Great and diverse food and a rich cuisine.professional staff, and great mood. In addition to that, the pay is decent. I tell about this spot with no doubt.
Excellent server. Comfortable & very clean.
Yummy food great servuce
Good food (had breakfast) and super friendly staff.
Not the same environment since they took all the memorabilia off the walls. Same great food. And friendly staff. In middle of town, walking distance from hotels, etc. Clean. Lots of locals are their usual patrons. Kid friendly
Food was bland, overpriced, but nice waitress
Took an hour and a half to get our food. While buttering pancakes a fly flew into the butter and got stuck. The pancakes were under done and inedible. I do have to say the coffee was good and the cook did know how to cook an over easy egg.
Wow, where to begin. The waitress was insensitive and unwelcoming - "...uh...Do you want water? Or other drinks... Or whatever". The kids meals included a drink, but she wouldn't get them lemonade or juice, it had to be a soft drink. Are you serious? The plates were grimy (they could've been clean but definitely had a residue). The food? Pretty sad. There's really no need to mention what we ate because I'm sure everything on the menu would be prepared the same way and bring the same unremarkable reaction. The only good thing - the chocolate shake. It was delicious and tasted like a frozen hot chocolate. Ultimately though, stay away.
Good food, nice people
They have changed names, same owner and good food Glad I found it again.
Friendly service. I had the California Turkey Club, it was an 8 out of 10. I also had some outstanding tortilla soup. My friend had burgers and they said it was really good. Will be going back.
Shared a plate with my boyfriend. It was our first time at Rodz Grille. We supported the Angels Camp Farmers Market and bought lots from the local vendors. Wish more ppl came out tho! This covid19 is killing small business and local vendors! So, we also wanted to support a locally owned eatery and came upon Rodz. Friendly staff, social distancing guidelines and cleanliness followed, excellent Veggie omelette with artichokes (new to me and delish!), excellent wait staff and smiling faces, and super cool memorabilia and history. My b.f. and I had fun looking for the racy menu names (e.g. "California Woodie," "A Little On The Side"-LOL). If you decide to head up to the Sierra Foothills on Highway 4, skip the easy bypass and turn right on Hwy 49 towards Historic Angels Camp for a visit into this quaint town! Friday night Farmers Market starts 5PM-Sundown. Before rolling into Angel's Camp you can't miss Rodz Grille on your right.Check them out. It's a great place to dine!
The menu was fun, the food was great and so was the service.
Waited for my omelet 45 minutes .When hall was empty .
